Before you hit the road.
Answers to the questions you have before getting started.
Is SwifftXP really free?
Yes, everything. The addon and every guide are free on every version: WoW Forever, Classic Era, Classic Hardcore, Season of Discovery and TBC Anniversary. Leveling 1–60 (1–70 on TBC), dungeon quests, talents and BIS by phase: nothing is paid, no purchase and no code. If you'd like to support the project, you can on Ko-fi. It's optional.
Why is it free?
Because I want everyone to enjoy it, and Blizzard's rules ask for add-ons to be free. I build SwifftXP in my spare time; if you'd like to help me keep going, you can on Ko-fi, but it's never required.
Which version of World of Warcraft does it work with?
SwifftXP works on WoW Forever, Classic Era, Classic Hardcore, Season of Discovery and Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary. A single free addon covers all of them and detects which one you play on its own (1–60, and 1–70 on TBC).
How can I support the project?
You can buy me a coffee on Ko-fi, once or monthly. You can also help for free: download the add-on on CurseForge, tell your guild about it and report bugs.
Can I change the website language?
Yes. The site automatically shows up in your browser's language, and you can switch at any time with the language selector at the top of the page.
How do I update the add-on?
If you installed it with CurseForge, updates happen on their own. With the .zip, download the new version here and replace your SwifftXP folder: your progress is kept.
